Introducing the Baron Monocle Go Means Go Edition 03-19-10

Yep, we finally finished our track bike.  Here are some quick shots of it down by the wharf.  It’s kitted out with Chris King headset, Sugino 75 cranks, Thomson seatpost and stem, Corsa Concepts wheel, Deda Pista bars and a saddle that I had kicking around the shop.  I’m hoping the nice weather holds so I can get it out to the Marymoore Velodrome as soon as they finish fixing the cracks.

Welcome to the new Baron Website! 03-05-10

We love bikes. We love to ride, whether it’s four hours of hard training in the rain, a race, a day trip, or an evening of bikes and beers. We started Baron so we could do what we loved. The bicycle market is full of mass produced frames from Asia, and if you want a custom bike built just for you, there are many options out there. But what if what you want is somewhere in between those two extremes? What if you care about supporting local craftspeople but don’t want to spend the time or money on a custom frame?
